Fantastic Lady (FR)
Made up into a useful winning chaser last term but pulled up in a listed chase at Doncaster (20.5f, soft) 105 days ago. Runner-up in this 12 months ago and she’s the sort to bounce back after a break.

Bill Baxter (IRE)
Took this 12 months ago but turned in a laboured effort when only sixth of 9 in a handicap chase (9/2) at Newbury (19.8f, soft) 41 days ago. Cheekpieces go on now, so he still merits consideration.

Cherie D’am (FR)
A point winner who has shown progress over hurdles, notably finishing runner-up to Springtime Promise in the Jane Seymour Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle at Sandown 57 days ago. However, this race might prove to be a step too far for her.

Shanagh Bob (IRE)

Winner of decent novice events at Chepstow and Warwick last season, Pikar wasn’t disgraced in his last outing at Cheltenham, but this race marks a significant challenge after almost 12 months off, especially following a wind operation. The yard is also represented by Skycutter.

Skycutter (FR)
Skycutter comfortably won over 17f at Carlisle in February and followed up with a good third at Kelso. With only his third start for the Dan Skelton stable, he has shown potential, provided he can minimize mistakes.
