The clash between Manchester City and Leicester City at 17:30 on the 15th of April 2023 is set to be an exciting encounter. Manchester City’s recent 3-0 win over Bayern Munich in the Champions League has fuelled talk of a potential treble-winning season.

They have won their last nine games, and with a game in hand over Premier League leaders Arsenal and six points to make up, the title race remains alive.

Leicester City, on the other hand, have had a tumultuous season, with former manager Brendan Rodgers being sacked and replaced by interim manager Dean Smith.

The Foxes are teetering on the brink of relegation, having picked up just one point from their last 24 available points. However, Smith remains defiant, stating that he would not have taken the job if he thought the situation was insurmountable.

For Leicester City, this match could be seen as a free hit, given their current plight. Jamie Vardy, who has become a bit-part player of late, could become the first player to reach 300 Premier League appearances for the club if he features, which would be a landmark achievement.

However, Leicester City has lost four of their last eight competitive away games without reply, which does not bode well for their chances against a Manchester City side in incredible form.
