Premier League:
Man City v West Ham

Manchester City face West Ham United at the Etihad stadium tonight. Man City are currently 2nd in the league at the moment, although this is expected to be temporary with 2 games in hand over Arsenal.

Manchester City’s recent form has been impressive. They secured a 2-1 victory over Fulham in their previous match, with Erling Haaland scoring his 50th competitive goal of the season. This feat has made him the first person to achieve this milestone in England since 1931. Haaland’s form is a massive boost for City, and he will be eager to continue his scoring spree against West Ham.

Manchester City has a great record against West Ham, having won 13 of their last 16 meetings. They have also won their last six meetings at home against the Hammers. However, they have not scored more than twice in any of the last five home matches against West Ham. This could mean that the Hammers have the ability to frustrate City, especially if their defense can hold up against the likes of Haaland.

West Ham manager David Moyes has expressed his displeasure with officials recently and suggested his team was “disrespected.” They also have a tough run of fixtures, including matches against both Manchester clubs and a UEFA Europa Conference League semi-final against AZ Alkmaar. This could impact their performance against City, but they will be eager to prove their worth on the field.

West Ham’s away record this season has been poor, with only three wins, three draws, and ten losses. However, they have won two of their last three away fixtures in the league, and they will be looking to build on that against City.

The leading scorer for Manchester City this season is obviously Erling Haaland. West Ham will need to be careful of Haaland’s scoring prowess. West Ham do have their own strengths, they have shown that they can score from set-pieces, with five goals from corners in their last six Premier League games.

West Ham’s goalkeeper, Łukasz Fabiański, will be crucial in stopping Haaland and keeping City at bay. If he can have a solid performance, it could help West Ham secure a positive result.

Overall, Manchester City will be heavy favourites going into the match, given their recent form and their impressive record against West Ham. However, West Ham has shown that they can be a tricky opponent, and they will be hoping to cause an upset at the Etihad stadium and stretch away from the relegation zone.

Prediction: 3-0 Man City.

Man City v West Ham Best Bets & Tips

Erling Haaland To Score, Man City To Win & Both Teams To Score – Was 2/1 now 5/2!

Man City have won 13 of their past 14 league and cup games and will look to extend that this evening and regain their place at the top of the table. They’re on an 8 match winning streak in the league and are hitting form at the right time.
Haaland has 34 league goals this campaign in 30 app. An absolute freak of nature and I think he could reach 40 by the end of the season.
City to win and BTTS has come in 5 of their last 5 PL games and BTTS happens in 44% of West Ham’s games, including 5 of their last 6 in all comps.
1pt bet.

Man City over 12 tackles and West Ham over 13 tackles – William Hill  – 9/4

In the league this season, West Ham have averaged 16.3 tackles per game and with City expecting to have the ball more, this may be topped tonight.
City on the other hand, average 13.2 tackles per game, which increases to 15 in the League Cup and 14 in the Champions League. As the stakes increase, expect them to challenge more.
1pt Stake.

Over 2.5 total goals & West Ham over 2.5 corners – 17/10 – Unibet double

Over 2.5 total corners has come in 4 of West Ham’s last 5 away appearances in the league and 5 of their last 5 Premier League games home and away.
There was over 2.5 goals in 69% of games involving Man City (22 out of 32 games this season), despite West Ham having only 36% of games with over 2.5 goals, I expect Man City to put them to sword tonight.
1pt stake.
