Bama Lama has gone through sixteen races without a win since 2021. However, in a recent handicap at Leicester over 6 furlongs on heavy ground, he put in a respectable performance and finished fifth out of a field of fourteen at odds of 6/1. Considering his previous effort at this venue last summer, Bama Lama appears to be well weighted for this race and has a good chance of performing well in this lower-grade handicap.
Irish mare, had a successful start to her career with a win in an Irish point-to-point race during the spring. She followed it up with a positive performance under Rules, finishing second in a novice event over the course and distance on soft ground in November. However, she has failed to perform in her subsequent starts and will need to make a significant comeback. jockey Brian Hughes has a 28% strike rate with the yard over the past couple of years, which is a positive and looks interesting as she makes her handicap debut with cheekpieces added.
Macs Dilemma has previously won over the course and distance. In his most recent race, a handicap at Brighton over 7 furlongs on good ground, he finished fifth out of nine runners at odds of 12/1. That run would have helped him shake off any rust, and it’s worth noting that he will be competing in this race with a 2-pound lower weight and cheekpieces refitted. Hollie Doyle has a good strike rate here at Chepstow.
Showed improvement in his recent outing, finishing fourth in a 10-runner handicap at Wetherby over 5.5 furlongs on good to soft ground. Previously, he won at Chester in a class 2 event with a rating of 77. Today, he drops down to class 5, Additionally, his jockey carries a helpful 5-pound weight allowance.
Ran as a 100/1 outsider in a minor event at Southwell over 7.1 furlongs, finishing ninth out of 11 runners. This was his first run since leaving the stable of Richard Hannon. Additionally, Powerful Response has been gelded ahead of this race, which could have a positive impact on his performance. Picture Of A City is a thrice-raced maiden who most recently finished fourth of six in a 12-furlong handicap race at Leopardstown on heavy ground. Relatively unexposed and has the potential for improvement. It’s worth noting that the trainer of has a strong record here at Sligo.

Willie Mullins representative is making her debut in the GB/IRE Flat racing scene. In her most recent outing, she finished seventh of 14 runners, 9 lengths behind the winner in a listed hurdle race at Punchestown over 16.4 furlongs on good to soft ground. Despite her jumps background, Nikini is expected to be a strong contender in this Flat race based on that form and she is favoured over Rattle And Hum.
