All Weather Championship Finals Day Burradon Stakes
All Weather Championship Finals Day opens with the Listed Burradon Stakes for three-year-olds and over one mile.
Galeron has to be respected and probably brings the best 2-year-old form to this race when successful in a valuable sales race at the Curragh on his final start last season. I think this however will go to one of the more unexposed types in the field, with 3 catching the eye though it`s still somewhat of a tricky puzzle to solve.
Arabian Storm heads the market the Kingman colt was an impressive course winner just 23 days ago and represents top connections in the shape of Andrew Balding and Osin Murphy who always have to be respected when combining. Another lightly raced impressive course winner is Flight Plan. This well-bred Karl Burke runner has a proper mile pedigree with this son of Night of Thunder being out of a pivotal mare, he looks to have a nice draw in 9 and is open to stacks of improvement. The Gosden trained Obelix is another course and distance winner who should have lots more to offer so is another in the mix.

Three-year-old All-Weather Championships Conditions Stakes
The Three-year-old Championship over six furlongs was introduced in 2017 with the first three running’s all going to the favourite. Second Thought won for William Haggas in 2017, Corinthia Knight for Archie Watson in 2018 and Transcendent for Fabrice Chappet of France in 2019.
This years renewal looks a good opportunity for the Richard Hannon trained colt Shouldvebeenaring. A winner on 3 occasions at 2 he`s returned in decent heart again this year winning at Southwell before not having things go to plan at Lingfield last time. He`s ran well here previously which just swings it for me and should be thereabouts.
Shaquille was a good winner at Wolverhampton and is open to further progress. Perdika maybe found a easy opportunity last time and had race fitness on it`s side but has to be respected under Kevin Stott. However, for those wanting something at bigger odds Desert Cop seems to be progressing with racing and still has more to offer.

All-Weather Marathon Championships Conditions Stakes
The Marathon is ran over two miles for four-year-olds and upwards. Previous winners include Litigant who went on to win the Ebor, Moonrise Landing, Winning Story and popular stayer Watersmeet.
Berkshire Rocoo is likely to be a pretty warm order here for the Andrew Balding, Oisin Murphy partnership. He has been in good heart this winter with a win and second place finish in his last 2 starts, those are strong enough pieces of form without being standout though and given the price we can look elsewhere especially as he also need to prove himself here at Newcastle. One horse who has no such doubts is last year’s winner Earlofthecotswolds.
The Nigel Twiston Davies runner looks to have been campaigned with this race in mind once more and was a winner of qualifier last time at Wolverhampton, he should go well in a bid to defend his crown. The second-place horse that day was Fleurman, who himself looks to have progressed well on the all weather this season winning his 2 previous starts including here over course and distance. I think the stiffer test here is more to his liking and at the prices looks the best option

Easter Classic All Weather Middle Distance Championships Conditions Stakes
The Easter Classic is the feature race on Finals Day over a mile and a quarter. Notable winners invlude Matterhorn, Tryster who went on to win a Group 1 at Meydan the following year and finished third in the Dubai Turf. Jockey Ryan Moore has won the Easter Classic on 2 occasions aboard Grandeur (2014) and Convey (2017).
John Gosden holds a strong hand of this year’s renewal training both the front 2 in the market. They both squared up here 2 starts back when Forest Of Dean came out on top and a similar result can be expected on this occasion. The selection won with something to spare that day over Harrovian and I don’t see any obvious reason that form is reversed. Irish raider Freescape and the progressive Base Note have to be respected but both need to step up further.

All Weather Mile Championships Conditions Stakes
The All Weather Mile is for four-year-olds and upwards.
The Clive Cox trained Positive has looked as good as when winning a pair handicaps this winter and has to be respected along with likely short priced favourite last month’s Wolverhampton listed winner Berkshire Shadow.
Irish-raider San Andreas also has claims for the Joseph O Brien team however it’s the Kevin Dalglish trained and Kevin Stott ridden Chichester who I have preference for. The selection is the only course and distance in the race which could count for plenty here and his performance last time out in defeat at Chelmsford was arguably his best form to date.

All-Weather Fillies’ and Mares’ Championships Conditions Stakes
The Fillies’ and Mares’ over seven furlongs has seen France claim success in the past with Fresles. Closer to home Mick Channon’s tough and consistent mare Volunteer Point won in 2016 and the first winning favourite was Diagnostic in 2018.
This looks a match between Manaafith and Queen Aminatu. The former is unbeaten in her last 3 starts and looks pretty adaptable when it comes to conditions having won at Wolverhampton, Southwell and Lingfield.
Her Listed success last time does not put her much behind her main market rival and should be thereabouts. Marginal preference however is for the John Gosden trained runner, Unbeaten herself in her last 2 starts winning a listed race at Deauville and Lingfield. A solid uncomplicated filly she marginally has the best form to date.

All-Weather Sprint Championships Conditions Stakes
The All-Weather Sprint Championship race is for four-year-olds and upwards over six furlongs.
A race in which trainer Richard Fahey has had good success in with Alben Star and Kimberella.
Alben Star was a shock 25-1 winner of the inaugural running in 2014 for Richard Fahey and Paul Hanagan. The most iconic horse in regards to this race though has to be the ill-fated Kachy who was successful in 2019. Who now has a Fast Track qualifier at Lingfield named after him.
With the front 3 in the betting all arriving here in good form and all being previous course and distance winners they look somewhat the unoriginal shortlist for the race. Vadream was a winner last time out and with Hollie Doyle in the saddle is sure to be popular but stall 2 could make things tricky.
The Clive Cox trained Diligent Harry will need to bounce back from last time but possibly had excuses that day and is better judged on his run the time before when successful here. That said Anaaf is taken to complete the four timer.
He’s looked better than ever this winter including when beating the aforementioned runner at Lingfield in a Listed event when last seen. Handy enough drawn in 6 and with James Doyle doing the steering a big run is expected.
