3.40 Punchestown 2m5f Stanley Asphalt Hunters Chase for the Bishopscourt Cup (4yo+)

Pretty low-grade stuff and it`s hard to be confident here. Jet Fighter was successful in a point recently and did not run too badly here over the banks earlier this week so has to be respected. Matthews Hill has pretty uninspiring form figures but he is bred to be okay and he was in the process of winning when falling last time in a point and could go well.

4.15 Punchestown 2m5f EMS Copiers Novice Handicap Chase (Grade A) (5yo+)

Kilcruit heads a strong willie Mullins challenge and So Scottish also has to be respected however its the Henry De Bromhead trained Life In The Park who looks most interesting. This lightly raced chaser is open to plenty of improvement still over the larger obstacles. He is  abetter horse right handed I think and makes his handicap debut here after a solid   third of 6 to Thedevilscoachman in Gr 3 chase  at Limerick.

4.50 Punchestown 2m5f Hanlon Concrete Irish EBF Glencarraig Lady Francis Flood Mares Chase (Grade 2) (5yo+)

This looks a good opportunity for Impervious to maintain her unbeaten record over fences. She had a couple of these comfortably beaten in the Mrs Paddy Power Mares’ Chase  at the Cheltenham Festival  and should prove hard to beat. The Willie Mullins pair of Instit, Allegorie De Vassy classed at Fairyhouse recently and the former could jump come out on top once again.

5.25 Punchestown 2m Paddy Power Champion Hurdle (Grade 1) (4yo+)

State Man has no Constitution Hill to contend with and should cement his position as the best Irish hurdler. Unbeaten on home soil this season he simply should be too strong for a field who he has comfortably beaten in recent runs. Pied Piper likes it here and could be the one to follow the favourite home.

6.00 Punchestown 2m3½f (2m3f80y) Alanna Homes Champion Novice Hurdle (Grade 1) (4yo+)

The vibes were rightly strong prior to Impaire Et Passe impressive success in the Ballymore Hurdle, he should have no issue maintaining his unbeaten record over hurdles and prove himself to be one of the most exciting prospect for next season. Inothewayurthinkin still has more to offer arrives here fresher than most and will appreciate the step back up in distance so could be the one for the forecast.

6.35 Punchestown 3m Irish Daily Star Champion Hunters Chase (4yo+)

Vaucelet and Billaway are familiar names in this division and will have there followers however Its the Henry De Bromhead trained 11 year old Chris`s Dream who currently looks the value play. He wasn’t beaten far at Cheltenham and his jockey takes a handy 7lbs off here so strictly speaking should be able to reverse that form. Although not having much joy here at Punchestown in the past he also might just be better going this way round now and arrives here fresher than most.

7.10 Punchestown 2m SalesSense International Novice Hurdle (4yo+)

There is a small amount of guesswork here with Sa Majeste however with no other stand out candidate this looks a good opportunity for the new Willie Mullins recruit to make a winning debut for connections. He showed a good level of form in France and the stable switch wont need to have bought about much improvement to be competitive. Firm Footings ran well in the Martin Pipe and offers some each way appeal.

7.45 Punchestown 2m2f Avison Young INH Flat Race (5-7yo)

Quantum Storm looked in ned of the experience when second to Ballyburn on his sole start to date, he had Irish Panther behind in third that day and considering that was his second start along with the fact he was better of at the weights that day then the form should be confirmed. Lecky Watson has to be respected on the back of his fourth in the champion bumper and Cheltenham while stable mate Dr Eggman also should be considered.
