Onesmoothoperator has not won for a while but there are positive signs of progress as he has recently finished in the top positions in his last two starts, most recently securing a fourth-place finish by 2½ lengths out of a field of 10 over the same course and distance as Cumulonimbus. Has a tricky draw to overcome but that is factored into the price and if getting the breaks looks fair each way value.

He is  facing older competitors for the first time today and this is a new test but he is expected to just have the measure of Emily Upjohn.
