Ameynah showed great potential in her only race as a 2-year-old and confirmed that promise by winning a 7-furlong maiden race on the Rowley Mile. Despite being thrown into the 1000 Guineas when last seen she performed admirably and finished sixth. She displayed some signs of inexperience during the race but finished strongly. Been off for 15 months but is the horse in this line-up who has most potential and should find the ground ideal.

My Prospero highly progressive 3-year-old, impressively winning the Prix Eugene Adam at Saint-Cloud and stepping up further with a notable third-place finish in the Champion Stakes at Ascot, just half a length behind Bay Bridge. However, he didn’t show much improvement on his reappearance when he finished fourth in the Prince of Wales’s Stakes and was not at his best last time also at Ascot. This is much easier though and still the one to beat.

Auguste Rodin proved to be a comfortable winner of the Group 1 Futurity at Doncaster in heavy conditions in his final start as a 2-year-old. However, he disappointed as a favourite in the 2000 Guineas. Made a strong comeback by winning the Derby at Epsom by a half-length margin, defeating King of Steel. Subsequently, he secured a victory in the Irish Derby and is expected to prove himself to be the best middle distance 3 year old around.
