NAP 3.35 Newmarket Mysterious Night 9/4 Bet Zone
Things did not go exactly as expected yesterday for the Appleby and Godolphin team but I expect normal service to be fully resumed today with all 4 runners at Newmarket looking to hold strong claims. I have come down on Mysterious Night though for the added burden of being the nap selection. He ha form at Group 1 level when winning at Woodbine and has solid Group 2 form closer to home last season. He simply should out class his rivals here for connections who have tasted plenty of success in the Craven Stakes recently.

Next Best 3.20 Ripon Sir Winston 4/1 Bet Goodwin
Roger Varian and Jack Mithchell have a healthy strike rate overall when combining but that goes up to a 62% strike rate here at Ripon. They have 2 runners today with the most interesting being Sir Winston. He showed promise in maiden company to suggest could win races once handicapped at the right level but simply has not been seeing the 7f out fully. The drop back to 6f looks the right move and he returns now a gelding after his winter break.
Each Way 5.20 Kilbeggan Laser Focus 12/1 Unibet
Henry De Bromhead has a 20%+ strike rate here at Kilbeggan with his runners performing above market expectation and his Laser Focus looks a fair price on his second handicap start. He might not be the most straight forward but has shown form better than a 102 horse in novice company and probably was unsuited by softening ground on a couple of occasions including handicap debut. Hugh Morgan takes a handy 3lb off, drying ground will suit and fresh might be the best time to catch this one.
Good luck with the horse racing tips!
