3.20 Redcar – Burglar 4/1

A very interesting novice stakes today with Sir Michael Stoute’s last time out winner crystal mariner topping the market at 10/11, but I’m giving the John and Thady Gosden colt burglar another chance.
The Cracksman colt was very green on debut, but still went on too win quite well at Lingfield.
Disappointing next time out, but was keen too post and keen during the race also.
Best to put a line through that run, and with Stoute’s strike rate only at 5% in the last 2 weeks (1-19) I think the favourite is opposable at odds on.
Burglar looks the most likely horse too benefit if the crystal mariner underperforms, and 4/1 looks a value bet against him.

2.50 Redcar – King harry 7/1 ew

Likely Favourite pledgeofalliegence was heavily backed last time out and Is probably the most likely winner, but at a ew price I’ll take him on with king harry.
He showed improvement last time out at Redcar when stepped up in trip , which wasn’t a surprise considering his sire harzand won the epsom derby in 2016 for Dermot weld .
He has a good draw in stall 3, and a positive jockey booking in Robert havlin.
I find it hard too not have him in the first 3 home , and could possibly win .

8.15 Tipperary – Milwaukee

Some nice horses run in this maiden tonight but my pin landed on Aiden O’Briens Milwaukee.
He ran a race full of promise as a 2yo on debut last year at the curragh, finishing 4th after being quite well backed into 2nd favourite. Then on his first run this season 4th again behind the good Dermot weld horse azazat , azazat was 3rd too oaks favourite savethelastdance 2 starts ago , so that form could be not too bad.
Milwaukee is sired by American stakes winner justify, so the good ground will be more suitable, and I think improvement is still too come .
