Cases can be made for plenty in this race, but the one that caught my eye is Soul Pretender.
Has some good form in higher grade races, including a good run at Cheltenham behind Banbridge and a 3rd to Flame Bearer.
He does have too prove he stays this far, but his half sister Mister Hyde did stay 3miles over hurdles and fences, so it’s entirely possible.
Dropped into handicap company for the first time this is a step down in class, and a mark 143 looks fair.
Hopefully he stays and at double figure odds he looks worth chancing.

The big race in France today is the group 1; Prix D’lspahan and the short price favourite is Anmaat.
Anmaat ran well last time out only beaten 2 and a half lengths but Adayar at Newmarket when conceding him 5lbs and he will be hard too beat but I prefer Buckaroo ew at the prices.
Yet to win at this level and needs to improve to win but I was very taken by his beating of Homeless Songs on seasonal debut back in April.
Joseph O’Brien is always a trainer not to underestimate when sending horses to France. He could of ran him in the Tattersalls Gold Cup yesterday but decided to come here instead. Probably been trained for the day. Improvement could still be too come and with Oisin Murphy taking the ride he looks the ew play if getting 3 places
