2.45 saint cloud – Above the curve

The big race in France today is the Prix corrida, a group 2 for fillies and mares over 1m4f, and nashwa is the 4/6 fav.
She could be very hard too beat, but at the prices I’ll take a chance on Joseph O’Briens filly above the curve.
Above the curve is a group 1 winning filly in France, and I’m not sure the price difference between nashwa and above the curve should be so big!
There’s only a 3lb difference on official ratings, and above the curve did run nashwa too half a length in the Prix de l’opera last October.
Above the curve should be fitter today after coming last last time out , and at the prices I think she could out run her odds or even win .

2.45 the curragh – Luxembourg

Vadeni will be a very short price for the Tattersalls gold cup today In Ireland today but I’m taking him on with Luxembourg.
Surely too come on for his last run and a sounder surface, I think Luxembourg represents a bit of value. Having already beat vadeni last year in the Irish champion stakes , and being closely rated too both vadeni and bay bridge Luxembourg could cause a bit of an upset.
This looks to be a tactical race but if Ryan Moore takes a lead he will have a good chance.
Bay bridge probably prefers slightly softer ground, and vadeni isn’t unbeatable so I’ll take a chance.

3.15 the curragh – Just beautiful

Joseph O’Brien has 3 in the race but I’m going too take a chance on just beautiful ew.
As big improver last year for Ivan furtado in the UK with 3 wins , including beating the superstar mare Highfield princess.
Just beautiful was disappointing last time over 7 furlongs at the curragh, but that was on soft ground.
Hopefully good ground and a return to a mile will help. She’s definitely better than her last run.
