3.30 Haydock – Chasseral NAP

Was drawn on the wrong side of the track at Newmarket last time , racing alone on the far side of the track ( all the action taking place on the stands
side that day).
The winner shaquille went on too win in listed company last week and is now rated 111 ( 17lbs higher).
81 rated Chasseral drops in grade today and should love the good ground on a less demanding track.
May be well handicapped on only his second run in a handicap after being unlucky last time.

5.12 Catterick – Mutanaaseq e/w

Last time out winner Mr Jetman tops the betting and should go well even with his 6lb penalty, but I think Mutanaaseq could finally get his first win of the season.
He’s on a big losing run and hasn’t won since 2021, but he ran a lot better last time at Catterick.
Racing today off the same handicap rating of 50, as last time, but jockey Taylor fisher takes of 5lb with his riders claim .
His rating has dropped from 67 to 50 since 2021 making him very well handicapped. He’s also three times the price of the favourite and looks a good ew alternative.

6.00 Limerick – Effernock Fizz

With likely favourite Jeremys flame better on softer ground, and not being seen since disappointing at the Cheltenham festival in march, if may pay too take a chance on Effernock Fizz.
The frontrunning mare has been in good form since winning the Welsh champion hurdle last October and has taken well too fences.
Was a decent 2nd too the Willie Mullins trained Saint Sam in a grade 3 chase at Killarney 10 days ago, and might have a fitness edge over her rivals. The good ground is perfect for her, and in receipt of 5lbs from the favourite, looks sure too run another fine race.

6.42 Sandown – Dapper Valley e/w

This race has thrown up royal Ascot winners in the past, and should provide a few clues going forward too the royal meeting.
Impressive Doncaster winner, the Karl Burke’ trained elite status, looks sure to be popular after winning on the bridal last time out but I’m keen on another first time out winner in Dapper Valley.
The Richard Hannon trained son of Dandyman was a nice winner at Newbury, the Hannon 2yos normally improve for their first run so he looks like a good alternative.
Hannon has said will improve for the run and the better ground, so looks a decent ew alternative too the likely favourite.
