2023 ATP tour Clay Court Season.

Thursday 6th April results for the ATP Tour, also predictions for upcoming matches.

Thursday the 6th will be know for comeback day at the Estoril Open as we saw some of that in Portugal. First off we saw Dominic Thiem winning very convincingly 6-2, 6-2 against talented youngster Ben Shelton, this has been the first time he has done this in a very long time and the fact that he did it so dominantly gives fans hopes that this can be the comeback we have been waiting for. A different type of comeback was when Bernabe Zapata Miralles turned a one set deficit into a win against second seed Hubert Hurkacz to win 6-7, 6-4, 6-2. Roberto Bautista-Agut was eliminated in tight sets by Quentin Halys. Marrakech provided some good matches as well with Tallon Griekspoor beating Elias Ymer in 3 sets, Musetti and Evans both advancing in straight sets with wins over Gaston and Popyrin respectively. The dullest news of the day came from Houston where again the rain was the protagonist with almost no play taking place giving organisers a difficult task in concluding the tournament by Sunday.

Today there are many great matches to look forward to and my predictions for the day are as follows:

Baez to beat Ruud
Evans 2-0 Vavassori
Carballes Baena to beat Griekspor
Musetti 2-0 Muller
